Christmas in Diverse City is the latest Christian Christmas Songs collection album released by American Christian recording artist, music producer, rapper, singer-songwriter, and author Kevin Michael McKeehan better known as TobyMac.This album was released on October 04, 2011 and released under the label Fore Front Records.
Haunted Horse: Songs of Love, Defiance, and Delusionis the second albumreleased by the band Neon Horse. Along with the first album, it was released on Toothe & Nail Records.
From the wreckage of roughly 20 nameless and faceless Los Angeles bands, Neon Horse arose as a collective of session musicians, home studio producers, waiters, and postal workers who found a commonality among themselves as background players in the big picture of the L.A. rock scene. After passing each other at dozens of shows – sometimes only to lend a hand with a busted chord or broken string, sometimes to keep an eye on the gear in the parking lot – and sharing countless tables for after hours war stories, the rather clichéd “inevitable” occurred and Neon Horse was formed. Citing influences broad in range – from the Rock of AC/DC, Oingo Boingo, and even the Stooges to the Sass of Depeche Mode, Bauhaus, and the Eurythmics – the band set out to make music they could play with a straight face. Eclectic and manic, Neon Horse is a band of Rock and Roll roots in the purest form: An ever changing, mercurial, addictive – and at times, slightly bizarre – continuation of Rock’s re-inventive nature. Neon Horse is back with their sophomore release entitled,Haunted Horse: Songs of Love, Defiance and Delusion.

When I'm with you is studio album by Christian Rock/Pop band Nevertheless from Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was released on August 18, 2009.
They are currently signed to Sony BMG’s Christian label, Flicker Records, and have two albums out: “Live Like We’re Alive”(2006) and “In The Making…”(2008). Their current single is from “In The Making” and is titled “Sleeping In”.
The band has shared the stage with Skillet, Hawk Nelson, Superchic, Falling Up, Decyfer Down, Number One Gun, Kids in the Way, and many more. The reason they tour is not for increasing sales… “The moment we stop caring about the people who buy our records is the moment I hope the band breaks up. We are going to try to shake hands with every single person we come in contact with, and if it ever reaches a point where we cant we will come up with something else to let people know we care. We are here for others, to help people, to give them something that will see them through, not just for ourselves. There is something larger at stake. When you are dead album sales won’t matter.”
Nevertheless is also a tree man Jazz-combo from lucerne, Switzerland.
Nevertheless is also a hardcore punk band from Boston. They released a self titled 7 inch along with a split 7 inch with Arise. Both records were released in 1993.

Take It Back!’s sound is often difficult to fit into one single category because of the many different styles they draw on for inspiration.
Take It Back! was featured as one of AP Magazine’s “100 bands to know in 2009” and their 2008 Facedown album Can't Fight Robotshas been praised in many online and print reviews.Rumors Of Revoltis available as a limited edition five-song EP or color vinyl 7” featuring three new songs and two covers.

Silverline is what I like to call a “tweener” band, one that could really go either way. Bore things down a bit and they’d be nothing but an ignorable CCM band. Amp things up a bit and they could really rock the party like House of Heroes, Letter Kills or Ivoryline. It really depends on where they want to go with things, but this ep certainly shows some amount of talent for writing some legit alternative/pop rock songs.
The thing that gets me is that Silverline has a song in “Start to Believe” that should make any indie rock fan happy, but then they can follow it with a pop song like “Wake the Nations” and then mix in a worshipful song like “All Consuming Love”. When a band is all over the place like that, it is difficult to figure out what they are all about, at least musically. Their message, however, is very clear, talking openly about the strength they find from the Lord and their absolute need for Him. With God, they feel like they can do anything without hesitation.
Overall, there isn’t really a bad song on this album, making for a splattering of entertaining, yet straight forward pop rock ep. The lyricism is forthcoming on their faith, but could use a bit more imagination and creativity in order to separate themselves from the pack.
Letter Black, formerly known as Breaking The Silence, has come out with their label debut by way of their Breaking The Silence ep. Once we have that settled, it is pretty easy to distinguish what this female fronted harder rock band is all about. With the lack of female vocalists fronting rock bands, the comparisons to the few that are out there will come heavy, with the easiest being the similarities between Sarah Anthony’s of TLB to Flyleaf’s Lacey Mosley, with her cutting sonics that will make or break the band for the listener.
The ep starts off with “Moving On”, a melodic rock song about forgiving someone who was selfish, but not really wanting anything more to do with them, which comes off as pretty bitter for a song about forgiveness. This is followed by “Hanging on by a Thread” is a song about seeking God whereever we are at, even though we aren’t what we want to be, which reminds me a lot of a Fireflight approach to a song. “Best of Me” follows with a stripped down acoustic track which demonstrates our need for God in everyday life, even for breath, while our reaction should be wanting to give God our all. By the time we get to “Collapse”, it seems like the songs are getting a bit redudant, as this is another song about loving God because God loves us despite who we are. “All of Me” takes it in a bit of the opposite direction thematically, attacking what brings us down and rejecting it altogether. The ep finishes off with “Perfect”, which naturally speaks of the beauty that can be found in God’s flawlessness and the strength we have by being with Him.

Venia - Frozen hands Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Venia has a positive, multi-faceted message that stands in stark contrast to the nature of many of their hardcore contemporaries. Following relentless touring nationwide and self-releasing their debut album in early 2008, the band drew the attention of Blood & Ink Records, who felt immediately they should work together.
Venia entered Studiotte (Comeback Kid, Saints Never Surrender, La Dispute) in Grand Rapids, Michigan during early 2009 to record their next effort,Frozen Hands. Packing their characteristic punch, the album also demonstrates Venia’s constant progression as musicians, resulting in a pummeling, yet thought-provoking release with thematic threads running throughout the lyrics. June 8, 2009 – Central Florida:Anchor&Braillegear up to releaseFelt, outAugust 4thonWoodWater Records,Stephen Christian’s own record label which is distributed by Universal Music. Produced, engineered and mixed by Copeland singer Aaron Marsh and recorded over the course of four years,Feltis the first full-length for Anchor&Braille and the first release for WoodWater Records.
“The songs are mostly songs of regret and heartache, with hopes that each and every one rings of nostalgia and better times for all who listen,” says Christian. “These are some of the most painful songs I have ever written but with each song I felt a sense of relief and on some level an almost spiritual repentance and cleansing.”
Feltis a bona fide depiction of an artist bursting with an endless supply of aptitude and creative energy. The album’s instrumentation and profound lyrics flow beautifully from one song to the next. From finding out we are in a relationship with someone we shouldn’t be, the album’s contagious“Blur,”to contemplations of life in“Rust (the short story of Mary Agnosia),”to the blissful sounds of“Like Steps In A Dance,”Felt, has the auditory and sensory feel Christian was hoping to achieve. Christian describes the sound ofFeltas “exploring a museum at night with all the lights off. There are moments of mastery on this record, and the closer you study the lyrics, songs, & urethral layers the more beauty and enjoyment you will get out of it.”
“I named the recordFeltat the request of a friend because the meaning, much like the songs on the record, has two different levels; a surface and a deeper. The first meaning of the word ‘Felt’ is the past tense of the word ‘feels’ because these songs are all past memories, which I have learned, mourned, and grown from. The second meaning of ‘felt’ is the fabric which connotates a very sensual imagery, hopefully much like the music and melodies themselves.
Anchor&Braille started several years back when Christian realized that he had written many songs he knew Anberlin could never use. The songs had a different feel and the lyrics were topics that he felt were a bit more personal, which he was not ready at that time to share on a mass platform.
